Is your underwear drawer organised or just a heap of mess? Sorting through my underwear drawer and picking up an old outdated bra thinking ‘do I really need this’ it got me thinking what certain styles of underwear should I keep and why. I've decided to put my top 10 items of underwear I must have in my drawer.
Cute Matching Set
An underwear set that makes you feel confident, sexy under anything that you wear and obviously comfortable. A perfect example of a cute matching underwear set is the Melissa Underwear Plunge bra and brief from Fantasie, with a glamorous alluring lace bra adorned with Swiss floral embroidery on a bright Magenta background.
Practical everyday bra
For a practical everyday bra I would choose the Deco Underwire Moulded Balcony Bra from Freya for its functionality and a flawless shape, providing a perfect canvas for any ensemble with a soft-cup bra and seam-free for a smooth look under clothing.
Special occasion bra and panty
A special occasion bra and panty is a key feature to make your special occasion, special. You could have different sets depending on what clothing you’re wearing such as if you’re wearing a strapless or near strapless dress the Wonderbra Ultimate strapless and matching thong is perfect for a supportive hold with unwanted underwear lines. If you’re not going strapless the Elle Macpherson Dune, Jet is perfect for a ultra-sexy look with a boned contrasting shaping band and sunflower graphic along the cups.
I don’t know about anyone else but I love a good pair of Spanx in my drawer just in case I’m going out for a meal with a bodycon dress or tight fitting clothing. The high waist mid-thigh from Spanx is my favourite for the maximum control and extends from the mid-thigh to the bra line.
When the nights are too cold for just wearing a sleep shirt or nothing at all I love to have a good pair of PJ’s too cosy up in while in bed. The DKNY Cheeky PJ Set is perfect for lounging around in with its lightweight material and long sleeved top for added comfort.
So there you have it. My list for the top 5 must haves in your underwear drawer. Do you agree? Would you have more or less must haves? Leave a comment below to join the discussion.
