Are You Ready To Find Your True Bra Size, But Don't Own A Bra?

Are you ready to find your true bra size, but don't own a bra? No worries! There are a handful of ways to measure your size and owning a bra is unnecessary.

So why is it important to find your true bra size? Well, as long as bras have been around, they've been improved and developed so that they can offer you not only beautiful style, but health benefits. Having the right size bra can improve back pain, shoulder pain, rib pain, and more. Having your breasts supported correctly is vital in a woman's life. Not only that, but having the right fitting bra can also improve your overall shape, giving you an hourglass figure and smoothing out your curves.

Let's get to measuring!

First of all you will need a measuring tape and a pen and paper. You will be using these things to find your perfect fit.

If you are braless, you are first going to want to lean forward so that your breasts hang gently and you can slip the measuring tape underneath to the base of the breasts. Wrapping around your ribcage, take note of how many inches around you are. This is going to be your band size.

The next step is to then measure around the widest part of your breasts, usually in line with the nipples. Take note of this number as well.

Now you will have two numbers, a band size and your widest size. Lets say for example your band size is 33 and your widest size is 40. Now you will have to subtract the two numbers and find the difference. In this case the difference is 7.

Your band size can only be measured in even numbers, so if you got an odd number, you will need to round up to the next even number. So, in this case, your band size would be a 34.

Back to our calculated number, 7; this will be used to find your cup size. One way of doing this is following a size chart to help you find your letter. Another simple way is to count on your fingers! So our number is 7, meaning you will go up 7 cup sizes, starting at A. Using US sizes we will count: A, B, C, D, DD, DDD, G. The seventh letter is G, making you a 34G in US sizing.

And there you have it! Measuring your bra size has never been easier. If you would like more information, watch the video below!
